PURCELL, Okla. — Our In Your Corner team has new details involving the former owner of a RV consignment dealership.
Gina Clark is charged with embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from customers at her former business, Sooner RV in Purcell.
That’s not what landed her on our news though.
It was her standoff with police.
It ended after Gina Clark turned herself in.
Prosecutors charged her with shooting with intent to kill, but our investigation was just heating up.
Families are suing Sooner RV and its owners, Gina and Brett Clark, in civil court.
Most of them are still waiting on a judgment, but we know one of those customers was recently awarded a $150,000 judgment against the Clarks after they failed to show up in court.
We also know Gina Clark has a new attorney. Her old one withdrew from the case.
She’s charged with seven counts of embezzlement, which she pleaded not guilty to earlier this year.
Right now, she’s out on bond and wearing an ankle monitor, although she wants it removed.
She’ll go to court in January to find out whether or not a judge lets her do that, but first she’s supposed to show up in civil court next month.
