OKLAHOMA CITY - Our Joy 4 Kids drop-off site at Northpark Mall looked more like the North Pole.

The Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Citizens Caring For Children, and volunteers from OG&E rolling out for the kids and giving the best gift of all: their love and time.

“I grew up in Cameroon,” Roy Kikah said. “We were brought up in a way where you have to take care of people [and] you have to ensure if you are smiling, the next person sitting beside you is smiling.”

This is one way Roy and others can help bring smiles to foster children.

“I have a 5-year-old and 3-year-old who got to pick out the girl's wishlists that was a 2-year-old and they were like, 'Oh, she'll probably like My Little Pony,'” said volunteer and mom, Patience. “I'm like, 'She probably will, because you guys love my Little Pony.'”

The presents get loaded on trucks and hauled to a DHS warehouse, where they stay, until they are distributed to DHS offices across the state.

The foster families then get to pick up the gifts and take them home to wrap and put under the tree!

This year, we surpassed our fundraising goal by 170 wishlists!

That’s an extra 170 foster kids who don't have to wonder whether Santa will find them at their new home.

Your donations helped push us over the top, ensuring these kids know someone really cares about them.
