OKLAHOMA CITY – Our In Your Corner team has new details involving a broke pool builder.

Mike Zachritz first popped up on our radar last year. He’s accused of defrauding countless customers, including a stroke victim and Veteran.

Customer, Dave Kirby, said, “They knew they were in trouble and they kept taking money.”

Last week, Zachritz was sentenced to 18 months in a federal prison for tax evasion and ordered to pay $461,363 in restitution to the IRS.

Not to mention he still owes the state a huge chunk of change.

The In Your Corner team has learned Attorney General Scott Pruitt’s office plans to file criminal charges against Zachritz in the coming weeks, meaning victims could see some restitution after all.

“Our office will continue to seek accountability there. It was systemic,” Oklahoma Attorney General, Scott Pruitt, said. “I’m glad to hear there is a measure of accountability and justice already occurring. We’re going to continue that shortly.”

We’ll keep you posted on the case.
