OKLA. CITY – Jacqueline Bullock has an axe to grind.
Her gripe is with David Boone of Boone’s Tree Service.
She says he barely did a lick of work and promised to return to complete the job, but disappeared with the family’s cash.
There are more complaints against Boone going back several years.
Danielle Tidd says Boone got her for $300 right before her wedding day.
“I had fallen for him saying they had recently been in a car accident and they needed the money as quickly as possible,” she said.
Boone’s cell number traces back to the Chickasha area, but we know he likes to give out an Oklahoma City address.
No one was home.
We spotted one of his family members next door who told us he thought Boone was in jail.
We checked.
Boone’s not in jail right now.
His sister lives next door.
She says her brother is a drifter with a troubled past.
We can’t say for sure where tree trimmer’s hiding out.
Danielle already paid someone else to cut down her tree.
Jacqueline is still figuring out what to do next.
Boone’s sister says it’s likely her brother is still operating his tree trimming business, going door-to-door.
