OKLAHOMA CITY - Myrisha Guy finally has a house she can be proud of.

“I got 30 times the blessings,” she said.

Remember Myrisha hired a contractor to repair her tornado damaged home, but that contractor bailed on the job.

She was desperate to the insure the home but couldn't until the repairs were completed.

She can insure her home now.

“She's so grateful, and I'm so happy,” said Myrisha’s daughter, Tanisha. “Oh, yeah, this looks good.”

Homes by Taber and its owner Taber LeBlanc spearheaded the project helping to pull all of the resources together.

Fields Drywall did superb work.

Remember that giant hole in her ceiling? It's just gone, along with all that water damage.

A-1 Electric Heat and Air installed a brand new energy-efficient furnace and air conditioner, and there were more major upgrades.

Triton Foundation Repair set Myrisha's mobile home on a firm foundation.

Myrisha's home is supported but, most importantly, her mind is at ease.

Darrin Humphrey and Tornado Safe Shelters worked fast to put in this brand new concrete flat top shelter.

“I thought we'll bless somebody, and we had an opportunity, so I took advantage of it,” Darrin said.

A bunch of good-hearted Okies coming together to help create a better life for their new friend.
